I have 7 roos that are in thier very own "Swanky Bachelor Pad". they were being a little too frisky with the girls I want to take to the fair so I seperated them.
Last week they crowed, alot. Now they are not crowing.
I went away for the weekend and my mom stayed to zoo-sit all my animals. They have the same food and water they had last week. But my mom did not let the hens out into their run because she is a bit diabled and I though 2 days indoors wouldn't hurt anything.
I have only heard one of the small silkies who is just learning to crow make is little voice be heard. The big boys who were crowing up a storm are just kinda strutting around making this weird raspy sound that is almost like the coo some of my hens make.
Is that normal?
