Roo...right?

Yeah, I was pretty sure this time. Too bad, he's really sweet!!!My dog and he are best friends-the roo (was Edith, looks like he's actually Ed) shares his breakfast and rides around on his back. No pic of the riding, but...

Too cute!!!

I know how you feel. Still trying to get a mille fleur d'uccle hen, got 6 roos in two hatchings, lol. You should enter your picture on the Online Poultry Show board on the "Dog Day's of Summer" thread.

How old is s/he?If it's 20 weeks+ s/he may very well be a pullet at the point of lay.If it's 19 weeks or younger it is a roo. Those tail feathers don't throw me off because I've read about people's chickens on here with those feathers whose owners later reported lay. It's the big,red comb and wattles that throw me off.If it's younger than 20 weeks I hope you can find a nice home for him!!!!!!!!

BRs can be sexed at hatch, way before this stage. There is absolutely, positively no question that you have a BR cockerel.

Spur nubs are on BOTH sexes in all breeds. Cockerels do not get real spurs till after six months of age and usually later than that.
