Roo shipped off....... :(

Just had to share that we finally rehomed our roo yesterday. It actually was quite sad but he is going to a friends house where we can visit when we want - I guess I couldn't ask for a better situation. My family had become quite attached to the little fella, a 18 - 20 week old EE named Firecracker.

That's great that you found him a good home! Sometimes that is really hard to do. I finally found a home for my Big Bird, and I hope that it worked out, I really miss him too!

It's hard I know. We had to rehome Cricket our white frizzled bantam cochin rooster (might I mention here that I really really wanted a white frizzled bantam cochin) when he started picking out my showgirl's top knot. I had so totally spoiled that boy.
