We have 3 BO roosters that were accidental purchases, as we currently have a Black Jersey Giant as the head roo. When they hit about 3 months they started fighting and were placed in a bachelor pen away from the rest of the chickens. They escaped do to some neighbors kids a few weeks later.
The weird thing is that they took up with our brand new flock of 1 month old Slate Turkeys. The Roos and turkeys are inseperable now, with the Roos treating them like baby chicks. This has been going on for 4 months now. With the Roos excepting also a small flock of Guinas Fowl I bought recently.
They have completely stopped fighting.
Is this weird? Does anyone else have this situation?
