In my experience, the boys grow in their tail feathers at a slower rate (but that depends on genetics and wouldn’t rely entirely upon it). But still might be too early to tell. Do you have others around the same age? The size of the legs can be a sign, too. If they are bigger/thicker it may point to roo.

Probably a boy chicken then, but wouldn’t bet my life on it .

Yeah its hard to see clearly but the comb looks pretty large and red. Seems to be a cockerel to me.

It is a Dominique, and is likely male.

If it were day one, the dark on the front of the leg would point to a female, but as you can clearly see it is not day one, probably day 30 for this one, so let us know when you find out for sure...
