Be sure to look for saddle feathers because you could just have a hatchery bird that's poor quality. I was convinced my pullet was roo because she's light and has long tail feathers but was told if she has no saddles she is not !

This thread is aging a bit but he is definitely a cockerel if the OP hasn't noticed already The pointed feathers give it away!

Where are you seeing male saddles? I have scanned that pic 10 times over.

I believe this is the bird that is 18 weeks old. There's another thread showing it somewhere around here.

I think you were looking at the picture someone posted as an example!! These are right at the beginning of thread That would make a lot of sense because that bird has been in other threads as well
