Roo?

Regardless comb type, I find male combs set behind their eyes, females even with or short of middle of the eye. Just an observation.



That's very interesting to hear! I'm going to start paying attention to that. This one looks pretty even with the eyes, so according to your observation that would mean she's consistent with a pullet?
 
Yes, I think it's a pullet . I feather sex chicks, and for me ,I am 80% accurate, but I raise birds that can be feather sexed. After I do that, then I go through clutch and look at combs. It works for me.

Based on the first chick picture and the most recent picture, I would say you guessed it right from the beginning...Rooster for sure
