roof for chicken run- need advice!

I have a small premade coop and 4 girls. I made a fenced in area so they can be out during the day but need to cover it so that they quit jumping out and running around the yard! Any input on how/what to use to make a "lid" would be great. It is 7' x 9' and I still have to be able to get to the door multiple times a day!

I don't know what your set up is like or how high your fence is, but maybe bird netting would work.
