Roofing nails

Any carpenters out here or other experienced coop builders know what I can do with the roofing nails that came through after I shingled the rood of my coop? The roof and the nails sticking out are about six and a half feet up off the coop floor. Are they up high enough where I shouldn't worry? My idea was to snip the ends of the nails off up closer to the ceiling. Any help will be appreciated.

you could use dow board which is the blue 4 x 8 foot sheets use liquid nail to hold it in place

or do what i did and dont worry about it

We just leave them typically but if you are worried about it just cut them off with some end nippers.

Personally, the only reason I would worry about it would be to keep from puncturing my own skull.

I left mine - my coop inside is about the same as yours, maybe a little taller. If you snip them off, you'll need to be sure to find/catch every end that flies as you cut them, lest they end up a shiny "Oooh, what's this? - Peck" item for the girls to see. My $.02

I agree with the blue foam insulation and liquid nails. It'll cover the nails and also keep the coop warmer at the same time.
