I have a small coop inside of a 6x10x6 chain link dog kennel. I need to put a cover on it to protect from predators, rain, etc. What ideas does everyone have for attacking corrugated panels to the top of a dog kennel. It's just me building this without anyones help so the easier the better. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, glad you joined.

It will not be sloped so it might leak as water will probably stand on it instead of run off.

I have not done exactly this and will be interested in hearing others ideas, If they have actually done it a photo would be fabulous. The way I attach to wire is to make a sandwich. This shows the idea. I screw a piece of wood on each side of the wire which gives me a solid piece of wood to attach to. This is the back of my pop door between the grow-out pen and the main run. I made the sandwich and them attached the pop door to the front. Make sure the screws go through openings in the wire and clamp them down tight.

Making the sandwich at height by yourself may be challenging, it'st he kind or thing you might need a third hand for. If I were trying it by myself I'd probably figure out how to use clamps to hold the boards in place so you can install the screws.

Here's a video I found on you tube. I don't know where you would find the bars, but you might be able to make something up similar, out of 2 x 4's (2 inch side up for strength) I would also try to put a slope on it, for water run off.

I really like jthornton's Ideas, the other method would be a shed roof (flat and raised on one end) both are great for snow, ice and rain shedding and both are pretty easy to do solo.
