we built the coop inside our shop and moved it outside this weekend. i'll post more photos once it's finished. coop is 4 x 4 and run is 4 x 13. currently we have 8 chicks from a straight run, and have identified one Roo for sure, or as sure as a novice can be! we thought we'd end up with 3-5 pullets but if we're lucky to have 7, think they'll all be happy in this? doing the math I'm coming up to 5 to 6 comfortably in both the coop and the run.

What a beautiful coop! I absolutely love it, it looks like you did a fantastic job, it looks super sturdy!

One thing, with all that wilderness around, you're going to need something stronger than the hex-shaped poultry wire you have there. A raccoon can reach right through the holes, and anything with half a mind and some determination can rip through it. Most of the coop/run advice I've seen around here recommends using 1/2" welded wire mesh or hardware cloth, fastened with poultry staples or sometimes screws & washers.
