Room Temperature Influence

I have my Brinsea Eco 20 in my basement where the temp is a consistent 60º +/-.
How much of an effect will this have on my 'bator temps? Glass Thermo inside reads 100º - are these units pretty well insulated and how much of an effect will the cool air venting in effect the overall temp?

I don't know how well insulated your incubator is, but the cool temperature shouldn't be a problem. If there is a problem, it will show up right away because the heater in the incubator can't keep up. If it maintains temperature for a day, I think it will be fine. I would rather have my incubator in a place with a stable temperature (even if it's a little cool) than where the temperature is constantly up and down.

My house temperature fluctuates widely in the winter and is often below 50 degrees. My Brinsea never misses a beat.
