Roos and hens living together?!

Hello everyone. I am purchasing a home and getting ready to move. I will need to build another coop and am wondering if I need to make space to keep the hens and the soon to be arriving rooster in separate areas. Thanks for your ideas

Just keep the ratio correct. 1 roo for 10 hens or something close to that.
Polygamy is legal and morally acceptable for chickens in all states except
North Dakota.

If I was it would be a compliment.

I had to reach up far to pull out North Dakota. I'm not even sure if it is a blue or red
state. Sounded believable.

Hey, I just thought of something. Mix blue & red & you get PURPLE!!
