Roos and hens?

I like those numbers better with the number of roosters you have. Your hens and roosters will be happier with a larger flock of hens.

we had three chickens pass away. One was a leghorn, the other was a chick, they both died from the cold, but the other one was one of my favorite bantys. I put burlap sacks on a kennel in the coop to insulate it for the chicks. I didn't notice they were pecking it until it was to late... I went to the coop the other night to find Selene hanging with her neck broken from the roost. it seems she flew onto the roost, snagged herself on a string of burlap, another chicken knocked her off, and she fell... I'm so sad...
