Roos or hens?

I recently bought two Dominiques from someone who said they were girls but I am thinking boys. One is supposed to be full bred and the other is supposed to be a mix.
Here are both together... The one on the right is supposed to be the real one and the one on the left is supposed to be a mix. The real one on the right has orange legs and feet with a double comb and the other one on the left has silverish legs and feet with a single comb.

The silver-footed single combed one will be refered to as #1 and the orange-footed double comed one will be #2.

No doubt about it. Orange feet is a ROO.

The other a pullet as to their heredity.. .who knows?

The one with the Rose Comb is a Rooster.

Nether bird is pure American Dominique.

Is it possible that both are roosters? I've seen them doing the "rooster stand off" to each other....heads low and neck feathers sticking out!

The body type, the over amount of Black in his wings and his comb is a modified Rose comb. The type of comb he has can come from crossing a Single comb breed to a Rose comb breed.

As for the other one, it has a single comb. The American Dominique only comes with a Rose comb.
