I have some chicks I would like to know the gender of. What do y'all think? My guesses are on the pictures. Hoping to have at least some pullets. I posted on Facebook but I'm getting mixed answers so I'm still not sure what genders they are. I don't want accidentally rehome a pullet thinking they're a rooster and I need to go ahead and try to rehome the extra roosters. They're ages are 6+ weeks. Some are older than others. All are from rural king.

Buff Brahma and Wyandotte look to be pullets. The light Brahma and Mystic Onyx look to be cockerels. Those ones are pretty clear so far.

The other two aren't clear yet. I am not so sure that is really a Bielefelder. Looks like it could be a Calico Princess. But if it really is a Bielefelder then it is a cockerel, due to male specific coloring. A female would have a salmon colored breast with no barring. The RIR I think is a pullet but it's a bit too young to be sure about.

It's very possible it's a calico princess. I was just guessing their breed as I have a adult beiefelder that looks just like them. It seems quite a few people on Facebook think the buff Brahma is a hen to! I hope she is! The wyandotte is alot smaller/younger than the rest so I'm not sure if it's possible to tell for sure yet. I'll post more pictures of that one in a few weeks of it looks roo ish lol. I was hoping the RIR was female! Hopefully she is! How do you tell the gender with the mystic Onyx? It's hard to tell with the dark skin.

That one has a small comb but there are some reddish feathers poking through on the wings that look to be male specific feathering. I could have it all wrong, but that is why I think it may be a cockerel.

The reddish feathers on the mystic Onyx wings are actually poop! 🤣 They stood under the wing and got pooped on. They are actually solid black. No leakage.
