Beautiful cockerels - I especially like the white bird.

I wish I could keep at least one. Unfortunately our town doesn't allow roosters at all. Thank you all for your help. I'm trying to find a good home for them.

Well, we found them a new home. A nice farm and wildlife rescue not too far away. Just dropped them off and they're learning their place. We'll miss them but so glad they found a place.

I actually enjoy the cockerels more than the hens sometimes. And in some breeds the roosters turn out nice. I feel bad for those not allowed to keep roosters.

Some towns and cities ban roosters for various reasons the most common is neighbors do not want to hear them. Another reason is that chickens get loose or abandoned and with no roosters you do not get a feral chicken population.
