Roost Height....

My coop is FINALLY done! I have a question though... I put the roost 30 inches from the floor... Is 30 inches too high for the roost? I have 6 chickens (2 dark brahmas, 2 production reds, and 2 australorps) they are all 16 weeks old. I am scared that they could hurt themselves when coming down from the roost. Thanks in advance.

30 inches, to high, NAW. I put mine way up, they walk up and kamikaze fly down every morning. I think I might need to lower the roost.

That i think will be fine I have a 29"then one at 42" for my RIR.
