Roost too close to the vent?

When my hubby first built the chicken coop (first time chicken owners here) he put one roost right in front of the vent (it's a small coop 3.5×4×4.5 ) . All 3 of our chickens roost on it!! The problem is coming into winter, won't they get too cold and drafty there?! There are 3 other roosts so I was thinking of moving them at night to the lower roosts? Remove the highest one altogether? Thoughts?!

If you could post some photos it would help. I might remove the roost if it's too close to the roof. Another option is to close the vent off if your coop has good air exchange without it. Pictures would definitely help.
