Roost

What's the general consensus on the roost. Rounded or squared bars? I'm going to be building one because my girls are outgrowing the we originally built. Any input would be much appreciated.

The majority of people here recommend the wide side of a 2×4. If you want to go round I'd use a good size somewhat straight limb about three to four inch across.

The roost in our coop is a 2 x 4 (wide side up). Works great.
