Rooster Aggressive To Hens: Separation Help?

It happened to me last year but fortunately I still had two old roosters to get me thru hatching season. But good roosters are always available, usually for free or very cheap. I kept 4 young roosters this year and only need two for breeding. So I will be advertising the two extras this spring. Craig's list always seems to have roosters advertised.
Barred Rocks with good tails are rare as hens teeth in my area, that's why I had one shipped. He was not cheap, lol.

Some of my younger roosters are already getting randy, and making troubles. Generally it doesn't start until after the solstice, but this year has been warmer here, so maybe that's why I seeing troubles already.

I personally pen up naughty roosters whenever they need it. I have yet to have one not settle down after a bit of time in the clink. Roosters are mostly driven by their hormones. I would pen him up until you need him. Almost always when I release a rooster he's more respectful. If not back into the pen he goes.

I generally find those first 2 years to be when a rooster may need some time out, and management. Usually by the third season they are fine.
