Rooster and a favorite hen

Another rooster question. I have a favorite hen ( she comes to me to be picked up and carried, she pecks me if I don't take notice her, and she tends to hang by my legs or often times just by herself)anyway, if I'm holding her and then put her down the roosters, one in particular, immediately run right after her regardless of where they happens to be in the yard. Just curious as to how you seasoned chicken owners would view this behavior.

Does she shake herself after you've been holding her?

It's possible the roosters think you're mating her and they are feeling challenged...

No, she doesn't shake. My take is the roosters are seeing me as competition because, as I mentioned, if I put her down and walk away or into the house they immediately race toward her.
