Rooster and pullet?

I have a mature Silkie rooster that has been trying to breed with a Silkie that is only 13 weeks old. Does that mean it’s definitely a pullet? They all stay together, can he hurt her by trying before she’s laying?

Not necessarily, roosters will mount other cockerals to show dominance. What's the size difference between them? He could hurt the other one if it's too much smaller

I would say that. if the 13 week old one is standing there and not running away and everything seems normal when they are mating that yes the 13 week old is a hen but I'm not 100% sure...

They are both silkies. He/she is not that much smaller than he is.
