rooster attacked chick

does a chick recover from wry neck ?
The nerves might be just pressurized from the swelling of the injured tissue. But it might get even worse for 3-4 days, but then the swelling should subside and you will be able to see, if a full recovery wil be possible or not.

I’ve never seen an injury to neck caused by an adult rooster kicking them heal. It’s usually nerve damage.
I would kill the rooster that did it if he’s an adult.
i’ve grown attached to my chickens, i don’t have the heart to hurt him, i hatched the adults as well, 3 came out, i lost 1 due to a dog, he and the girl are the ones i have left, i hatched 4 eggs and my little ones came out, i don’t know what to do

Bingo. I wouldnt think twice of grabbin the t post& pinnin him down then pullin back feet straight up! I have no need for a mean rooster.
i really hate that he did this but i raised him from an egg, i hatched him myself, i don’t have the heart to hurt him, i cuddled him every night, i lost his brother due to a dog attack and i miss him everyday, i can’t bring myself to kill him

is there anything i can give him for swelling?

You could try to give 1/4 of a low dose (81mg) aspirin. I'm guessing on the dose/ it's 1/2 for a full size chicken. I don't think you have anything to lose by trying.

** If you have a real anti-inflammatory as mentioned above that would be better.**

he’s been wrapped up resting, hopefully he recovers, he’s trying to stand up and move but he can’t, he moves his legs and tail and tries to wiggle his wings but he just wiggles around his neck
So he is able to move his legs and tail? That's a good sign. Hopefully his back isn't fractured.
