Rooster beginning to get aggressive; focused on only one hen

I agree.. get rid of him (not rehome if he is aggressive, and it sounds like he is) or get more hens about the same age as your hens. Good luck.

Isolate rooster from balance of flock until all his feathers are mature. Then do not get into rank disputes with him. Latter means do not fight with him or react to his aggressive probing. Additionally, some roosters can operate with only one hen without causing damage. The 1 rooster to 10 hens is more applicable to production flocks that have many more hens a and roosters where roosters engage in sperm competition as much as interference mediated by aggression.
