Rooster behavior

I rescued 12 chickens December. 2018. The rooster is an Australorp.

The last 2 weeks, he has occasionally pecked very lightly at my leg. Sometimes I'm throwing treats, sometimes I'm just cleaning their enclosure. It doesn't feel threatening at all. More affectionate than anything.

Anyone else experience this? I want to make sure this isn't something that can turn into attacks.

I’m not sure about roosters, but my hens will sometimes do this to get my attention when I’m throwing treats.

It's sounds like curious pecks. Believe me, you can tell the difference when they mean business.

Does he move out of your way when you are walking through the coop? Don't walk around him!
It sounds harmless, but we can't see what he's doing out there, so make sure he at least respects your space better, without being dramatic about it. I don't want any birds pecking me, so it's discouraged here.
