Just rec'd day old jumbo Cornish X Rock roosters - 30 of them. Is anyone familiar w/ this type? Will they be aggressive toward each other soon? I hear they'll be ready for processing in 6-8 weeks, which is our plan. Will they crow before then?
Once they're too big for the brooders (15 in each), they be housed next door to the pheasant coop. Will that be a problem?
Any advice is welcomed!

Mine sparred a bit, but mostly were too busy eating to do much else. Keep them well fed, higher protein feeds (Meat-Maker, Game-Bird type stuff)

We never heard ours crow before processing them at 8 weeks.

Will the pheasants be of a size that they can protect them selves while amongst your broilers? Do you have enough space at your feeders so the pheasants will be able to get at them even with broilers camped out in front? Both species should be eating higher protein feed, so that should be good.

Good luck with your birds!
