I have one rooster that was raised with four of my hens while the others were raised seperatley and are older. My rooster is mature so now crows and jumps on the hens backs. The older ones have been known to chase him away though.
My question is is it probable for a rooster raised with hens to be more attracted to them instead of ones he hasn't or is it that he feels more comfortable and dominant with them right now and will continue to move towards the older hens in time?
