Rooster breaking eggs Hens not laying

I sold some year old hens and some roosters to a person. She has had them two or three weeks. She has caught the rooster breaking and eating eggs. She says she has only gotten one egg from the hens I sold her. I know hens stop laying when they are moved. How long would it take for them to lay again? Also the rooster breaking eggs is a problem. I have not had a rooster break eggs before. Any suggestions on that one. I did mention he may have to be done away with. He didn't break eggs here with me. Thanks for any advice.

It can take several weeks for hens to adjust to a move before they start to lay again.

As for the rooster breaking eggs, what are they being fed?

Is it possible they aren't getting enough protien?

Maybe not getting the proper amount of feed?

thats easy id cull the rooster if he is breaking an eating eggs.because he will teach the hens how to break an eat eggs.
