Rooster Breed

Hi! I've only had chickens since last spring so I'm a newbie. I got a second set of chicks from TSC that were supposed to be hens, but I ended up with a rooster. I would like to know what breed some of you with more experience think he might be and what I might end up with if I were to hatch eggs. Thank you all in advance!!

Thank you! So do you think if I hatched out some of my Aracauna eggs I might get some green layers? That’s my next goal!

He's a Red Sex Link. Mixing him with a hen that lays colored eggs should give you mostly daughters that lay green eggs, and a few that lay brown.

Yay!!! That’s my goal for this spring is to get some that lay green eggs. I want a diversity. I have 1/2 the amount of Aracaunas as I do Tef sex links and I get a really good mix of brown and blue, but I’m ready for some green and the darkest browns!

Probably most will lay green eggs with a few laying brown!
