Rooster Breed?

Got this big rooster from my parents and they got him from someone at church. He is huge, jersey giant big. It looks like he has some frizzle?? Correct me if I'm wrong on that assumption. He is also every angressive and heavy. Thanks so much for the help!!

Maybe a Marans? Just not the French type.

He's not a frizzle, either. Just a little beat up.

He looks quite ruffled up and probably would benefit from a good molt. I'd say he's a mix breed of some sort, and if he is a Jersey Giant, he has a lot of leakage (the red on his shoulders). Do you know how much he weighs and perhaps a size comparison of hieght? Personally, except for the clean shanks with no signs of feathering, I'm leaning towards a Black Copper Marans, but the clean legs is an obvious no. I bet after a molt he has red hackles and saddle.

Wonder if the hens beat up on him?? There are no other roosters that was with him. And he is aggressive to other chickens, so idk

I'd say he weighs around 7-8 lbs. I'd say he is about two gallon jugs high. We have a black copper Maran with clean feet already.

I'd just say a mixed breed! Not a frizzle as others have said, just a big roughed up
