I have a young roo that will not leave one of my hens alone. He breeds her everytime she walks by him and it's made her start hiding in the grass so he won't see her. If I pick her up from her hiding spot here he comes running. He has pulling the feathers off her back and head. What in the world is wrong with him? Is this normal and could he end up killing her?

Sounds like he needs a little time in solitary until his hormones get under control. He is after her beause she is an easy target.
