My Orpington rooster has a comb injury. I suspect another rooster. It's not bad, but it bled down into his neck feathers. The blood is dry, and you can see his skin on his neck. We cleaned and put neosporin on the comb. It's around 30 F here. Would it be worse to clean his neck and him to be wet in the cold, or to be cold from the feathers being stuck together?

If you have gotten his feathers wet down to the skin, I would move him to an area above freezing until he is dry.
I didn't do anything yet to clean him. that's what I was afraid of. I don't have anywhere to put him. The coop is probably a little warmer. Plus he has the hens to help out keeping him warm.

The dried blood caused the feathers to stick together and show skin.
