Rooster concern

This is Jill from Henrie’s Hens & more to ask about our rooster & his swollen neck. Any ideas what it could be (caused from)?

Are you sure that’s not his crop?

It probably is- is that normal size or does it look abnormal? He was moving a little slow the first day we noticed it was enlarged- he may seem to be a little better now. Maybe still not as active though.

Is there any possibility he has a neck injury? Is he eating and drinking normally?

Check him first thing in the morning before he's had anything to eat or drink and see if it's not flat.
