Dropping of young, unwanted chickens, who were not raised or taught to fend for themselves ... will not go well for them ... they will probably suffer quite a bit ... and then die.

I think you need to come up with a different plan than dumping them.

My chickens are free ranged. As chicks they are taught by their mother how to survive. I allow them to range all day long and they roost in the trees. I feed them in the morning and have water available. They are descendants of ferals. They know how to survive.

Then why do you give them food and water?

It is something i have done for them all their lives. Sometimes I will catch them and put them in a makeshift coop. If I don’t put food out they will get in the car port and poop in it making my dad very mad. So I feed them. Also because free range sometimes isn’t enough so I give them food for supliments
