Rooster? Copper eggs? Lots of white on barred rock? What’s going on?!

Hello! I bought these girls as chicks in early spring and I'm pretty sure one of the "girls" is a male, I just keep hoping it's not lol I also was wondering if the picture of the egg I posted is a normal color for them to be laying? I'm not sure who keeps laying them but I'm pretty sure it's not the buff orpington. And one more thing, I have a barred rock in the pics below that is very white on the upper half and was wondering if she could possibly be mixed with something else? My daughter named her Hedwig since she has so much white lol Thank you in advanced!

Eta: are eggs still safe to eat if they are collected a couple of days later and are hot? Thank you again

Looks like a mixed breed. That one is a rooster, the egg is normal, mabey from the mix.

Lol yeah I figured, I just kept trying to hold out hope it was just a very "manly" hen

I had that hope with my rooster, until 5 weeks, he is what I consider mentally unstable lol, not very manly.

All pullets you have there! Your "roo" is actually just a POL pullet and the one laying the eggs.
