Ahhh! They are one of my favorite breeds! When I was younger I ordered 25 pullets from Murray Hatchery and they even threw it two extra. They all survived and grew up into hens and then had their own babies. (One of the extra ended up being a cockerel.) Before I knew it I had like 100 chickens lol. This is Clucky. He was half Australorp and also had a twin. Was born on Mother’s Day :)!

Wow really! I really like black australorps too! We only have 3 right now but they are just the sweetest things! One of our black australorp girls is raising a turkey poult right now!😂 They are just so sweet, healthy, hardy, and fun to have!😁 One of the others has the lowest voice and loves to talk! So she’s constantly showing off her low voice!🤣

Reminds me of a hen I have right now. She is a Lavender Orpington and decided to put on the pants in the flock once we had to re-home our cockerel. She will start making loud noises when their food bin is getting low, and will alert the other girls if there is a hawk nearby. She is definitely super vocal!
