Rooster crowing for other Rooster?

I have separated some of my chickens due to one of my Roosters being picked on till his head is like raw meat. Its been this way since we got him at 2 weeks old and now he is 8 months. I separated him and the other Roo (who I don't believe it the picker.) They were not together ass chicks... However the other Roo sits at the gate just crowing and crowing at the Roo I separated. If I put them back together the other Roo stops crowing and is fine. Could the Roo be missing the picked on Roo?

That is very odd! Does the rooster that crow's all the time show sign's of agression when he is crowing?

Nope, crowing is a location noise.
They're basically saying "i'm over here!"
When you put them back together they don't have to do that.

Roosters crow to each other to do checks
Mine crow to the neighbors across the street and to my breeding pen which is 100 yards away just to have communication

I noticed it gets very quiet lol.
