Rooster deformity

Which did not become apparent until he was about 4 mos old. He appears healthy enough, but am worried about the genetics of it. His wings did not fully develop...and while he is feathered nicely, his wings are pretty much usless. He cannot fly at all and cannot get up to a board to roost, etc. I have 12 hens and just the one rooster...so, my main concern is that he may pass the trait on to baby chicks. Anyone ever run into such a thing?

It could be genetic or it could be a hatching issue.. Sadly i would think until you tested it by breeding him and hatching some chicks you would never know for sure...
