My 1 year old BCM rooster has been acting a bit off since he got to a reasonable size. As a chick he seemed completely normal, but as he got bigger he seemed to get more and more mobility issues. It started with me noticing his hock joints seemed unusually large as a young cockerel, but I didn't know whether to be concerned. Now he's wobbly when he walks, sits alot, and is unable to fly/roost and has trouble roosting on tall objects. As previously stated he is just over a year old (Hatched 5/29/24) and my largest rooster at around 8 lbs, he is a healthy weight for his size and eats regularly. He is the only bird in the flock who has this issue, and from what I've researched seems like it may be related to either his weight or an underlying genetic deformity. His poop is a little runny, but it's been pretty hot, and they've been chugging their water to stay cool, so that may be the reason. As stated before this seems to have gotten worse as he got bigger. Just looking anyone who may have experienced this before/clarification.
