Rooster Does Not Crow

I have a black cochin rooster. He has only crowed 3x. He hasn't done any crowing for 2 weeks now. Could there be a problem???

I bought a bantam cochin roo at an auction, and my friend and I couldn't stop watching him there. He would make to crow movements but nothing would come out! When I got him home, he did crow very little in the a.m. but during the day he would only occasionally make a little creaky noise. Funny!

Roo is 6 months old.

I have a giant cochin roo that doesn't crow or say ANYTHING for that matter lol He's almost 15 weeks old now. He is trying to mate the girls but no crowing. He's a VERY VERY sweet roo. I will be sure to breed him and sell his offspring if at his full grown weight he still does not crow!
