Rooster doesn’t like feeder

I like these feeders because it’s covered and holds a lot of feed.
Do you have a link to this feeder so I can read what they said about it? Or a make and model so maybe I can look it up. I'd like to see what they say about it.

I understand that a lot of things sold online for chickens or anything else are often not designed that well. We see that every day on here. Prefab coops are probably the easiest example.

The general design doesn't look that bad to me if it were meant for hens, not roosters that normally have larger combs and wattles as well as larger heads. The reason I thought of this is that commercial hatcheries need to house their hens and roosters together but feed them differently. One solution is the feeders for the hens have wires that limit the size of the head that can go through while the roosters are fed in feeders hung up high enough that the hens cannot reach.

Probably overthinking it.

I think it's normal for large comb breeds.
I have leghorns and have yet to find a port feeder they'd use.
I've even made my own using 4" PVC which seemed big enough that their combs wouldn't hit but they still never would use them.
