Rooster doesn’t mate.

Oh my goodness we actually joke that Kyle would probably calmly watch something eat all of his hens one at a time in front of him.
I just love him so much

I had a rooster similar to Kyle. His name was Freddy, based off the fabulous singer.

This rooster was the type that probably would have watched as something came up, grabbed him and walked away. Like Hei Hei.

And that's about what happened. Neighbors dog got out, the birds scattered to safety and Freddy just kept pecking at ants.

But he did breed. He learned that while his dad would chase him away from most hens, the ones brooding were fair game and they wouldn't leave for obvious reasons to get away

I would keep him "just because" i have never met this bird and I can tell you I love him he reminds me of my weird little rooster biffy I assist hatched biffy and his lungs hadn't developed or something he always sounded wheezy and his crow was weird too he was the sweetest little rooster though never a meanie but your kyle is gorgeous and looks like a gentleman and he has very kind eyes

After looking back to see what I said, I started reading from my post hoping to see an update on Kyle. The mystery lives on apparently. Maybe we should start an opinion poll to see what people think happened to Kyle???

My rooster Kyle is an English Lavender Orpington. He is 10 months old. And he’s just not the brightest crayon in the box...

I love Kyle. I already love Kyle.
The lack of effort he puts into being a rooster is made up with the effort he puts into his adorableness.

Edit: What if his lack of effort on being a rooster is put into mind-control efforts to make all the humans fall in love with him?/j You never know.

That is really funny because we7 have one silkie Rooster called Auggie and he never mated, I think I babied him to mucj as a chick because as a juvenile he would try and mate with my hand, then as he was older he began to mate with stones he could pick up in his beak, then he tried to mate with an egg and it rolled away ?I think I have a very comfused boy
