Rooster dosent crow anymore

hey i recently added 2 hens and a rooster to my flock of 14 hens and a rooster, the top rooster is 5 years old and the one i integrated is 6 months old they integrated fine there was no fighting between them but he quit crowing, i don't think anything is wrong i was just wondering how come he quit crowing when he was introduced.

yes... dominace is why only one crows... Good for you! my next door neighbor has more roos than hens it is a whole chorus in the morning the only thin louder is the buttonquail in my room...LOL! (for some reason i do not mind the crowing...my brothers banjo is louder..LOL!)

Depends.The subordinates still May crow but not as much,while some may never crow,alpha always has right away for everything.
