Hi, just wondering if it's possible to tell if a chick is a rooster because of certain behaviors? Or is it still too early?

It depends on the age of the chick. Typically you can not determine gender by behaviour alone. Dominant female sometimes act like roosters (right down to the mating). If you start noticing the chick in question's comb getting red early (like before 9 weeks) you have a roo. Alot of times the comb starts changing color around 3-7 weeks.
