ummmmm not sure, LOL...im too new to this to know myself, all i know is that they seem to work for pecking birds yet doesnt seem to effect their eating.​

thanks for you help everybody but i wont be able to raise any of the egg my parents wont allow me get the incubator and my roo eats all of the egg that she lays. its just like them to stomp on any dream that i have

It is wonderful that Mom and Dad have decided to allow you to get an incubator, it will be a great educaion for you.

If you let your rooster visit for a day every week or so you should have good fertility. If you have one rooster and one hen odds are
she will be featherless soon. One to one ration gets the hen a lot of attention. Good luck

i had a rooster that i suspected was eating eggs. he was very mean. he beat up the hens and crowed alot and hogged up the food.
so i ate him.
