Rooster eating 'layer' crumbles.......

Here's a dumb question..........from a newbie.....................
when I switch the girls over to 'layer' feed, will that feed be okay for my one roo to eat as well????
(I have read posts where people caution against layer feed having too much calcium for chicks, etc......
so, is it also too much calcium for a roo?)

They'll be fine on it, that's what most get fed.

I have RIR and my roo eats with the hens no problem.Now if he should lay an egg you will hear all about it. marrie
