This is too funny!
My EE's have just started laying eggs the last few days.
My rooster follows the girls in when they lay an egg. He sits right beside them until they lay the egg. The whole time making the same laying noises she does. It is almost like a lamaze coach!!
It gets better! Yesterday, when I went out, I saw one of the hens and him sitting in the back of the mule. The hen flew out first, he stayed and didn't move until I got closer. When he got up, there was an egg under HIM! He was SITTING on the egg. After I moved away, he hopped back on te egg!
I might have to post later on how to stop a broody rooster. Or, maybe it is a great thing since I don't have a hen not laying?
