I have a rooster that's about 6-7 years old. About a week ago I placed several of his hens' eggs in the incubator. None of the eggs were fertile. Does anyone know what I can feed him to improve his fertility?

You might try game bird breeder chow and pluck some of his vent feathers. Is his mobility good that he is still able to mount hens ? There is always the possibility that he is no longer fertile. Good luck.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will try the game bird feeder chow and see if that helps. I never thought about clipping his vent feathers so will try that too.

He may no longer be fertile, due to age.
Curious to see replies because one of my (2 yr old) cocks is slack in fertility.

I'm hoping that by feeding him game bird breeder chow, the added nutrition will help with sperm production. He is such a good rooster that I willing to give it a try. Spring is coming so hoping that helps as well.
