rooster fighting

will they learn to get along or will they fight till one dies?i had a 4 year old EE rooster and gor a 5 month old mixed breed rooster 2 weeks or so ago. they got along fine. This last week something killed my older roo. i got another young EE roo but they fight constantly. i have them separated for now. should i leave them alone to work it out or will they fight till death?

The five month old should break off before much real damage realized. Watch to be certain. Outside combat issue less problem for looser but if confined you need to manage.

It's very hard to introduce maturing cockrels or cocks, and often won't work out. Sometimes cockrels raised together will get along, and often even then, with maturity, the fighting escalates. They can do real harm to each other, and it's not worth it. Mary
